Safety Management
The safety initiative of
Shakti Reforestation draws upon over a decade of experience working
with a wide variety of silviculture companies and the shared input
from some of the industrys leading professionals. Maintaining
certificates of recognition in both BC Forest Safety and Albertas
Partners in Injury Reduction has brought our safety management
system to life. Undergoing these rigorous audits has changed the way
we administer all of our work and created a strong administrative
foundation.
Our safety management
system, outlined below, has been developed with the help of Advanced
Safety Management which has built and mentored safety programs for
over 1/3 of the reforestation industry in BC and Alberta. Developed
with our careful input, this management system is at the forefront
of this field-specific safety management.
Personnel
Our commitment to safety
begins with our hiring process where we employ people who
demonstrate accountability, common sense, and a high regard for both
personal and team safety.
